Kunpan (2002)
Noble warrior, Kun Pan, is forced to leave his wife, behind when his arch-rival Kun Chang persuades the king to send Kun Pan to the battle front. Kun Chang persuades Kun Pan’s wife that her husband has been killed and she reluctantly agrees to marry him. After years of separation from his wife Kun pan eventually settles for another woman. However when he finds out he has been deliberately misled he tries to wreak vengeance on Kun Chang, his attempted is thwarted though sour and he is banished by the king. With nowhere else to turn, Kun Pan disappears into the forest and devotes himself to perfecting three supernatural powers: horsemanship, swordplay and magic. Based on the epic Thai poem of the same name, this is an adventure through a semi-mythical age, mingling warfare, sex and magic.
